■About the product What is "Mitate Ryoi" double v-neck summer kimono dress... It is a one-piece dress that is made with cool fabric and easy to wear. It is named “Ryoui,” meaning a light and cool garment inspired by a yukata. ・Made using Chizimi Cotton 20/20 Circulor washing-processed fabric by Sakao Orimono. “20/20” refers to fabric woven with 20-count yarn for both the warp and the weft. About the texture: Similar to shirt-weight fabric suitable for year-round wear. (The higher the yarn count, the finer the yarn and the thinner the fabric.) ・Dyed with Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing technique. ・Double-layered collar design. ・Elastic band is threaded through the waist to give a sense of sharpness and smartness. (There is a hole for replacing the elastic band) ・2 side pockets ・As this item is made with a single layer, if you are concerned about sheerness, we recommend wearing an inner layer such as a petticoat. ※Pattern placement will vary from piece to piece due to the manufacturing process. Customers cannot specify the print. ※Since it is a Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing (Hand-printed) product, there may be some deviation in shape, but it is a feature of dyeing. ※Due to the nature of the dyeing process, uneven color or fading may occur. ※As a characteristic of Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing, the fabric is printed by repeating the stencil on a plain fabric. As a result, lines called "Katakuchi" may inevitably appear at places where the stencil joins.
>About Katakuchi 【About Chizimi Cotton】 ・Produced in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture, with a long history dating back to the Edo period. Strongly twisted weft yarn creates a distinctive crepe texture that feels cool and breathable. ・Because the textured surface reduces contact with the skin and allows moisture to evaporate easily, it is said to lower the perceived temperature by about 2°C. ・Excellent sweat absorption, quick-drying, breathability, moisture absorption, and moisture release properties. ・Takashima chizimi cotton, which has benefited from the natural resources of Lake Biwa, boasts the highest production in Japan.
【About Dyeing of Chizimi Cotton】
When dyeing Chizimi Cotton, color may not fully penetrate into the deeper crepe texture of the fabric.
The Circulor washing-processed fabric used in this product has elasticity (Stretch rate: approx. 120%), making it comfortable and easy to move in. ※Chizimi Cotton 20/20 Circulor washing fabric may have a slightly different shrinkage ratio depending on the color/pattern due to the dyeing process.
・Please wash separately at the beginning.
・Please wash in a laundry net.
・Please avoid hand washing as it has a weak draining power. Dyes may dissolve in water and cause color transfer or bleeding.
・Please do not soak before wash to avoid color migration.
・Since there is a risk of color migration, please use a neutral detergent and immediately dry in the shade after washing.
・As there may be color transfer, please wash it separately from white or light-colored items.
・To preserve the texture of the crepe fabric, please refrain from ironing.
・The colour may transfer to other items due to friction whilst wearing.
・Due to the nature of the fabric, it may stretch or shrink slightly after washing. Please reshape it and hang it up to dry without putting strain on the seams.
・Do not tumble dry.
