What is "Naginata Kantoui"?
It is a "Kantoui"(a clothing with an opening in the centre for the head to pass through)" from the Yayoi period with naginata sleeves.
・The plain stitch cotton used for this shirt is produced by yarns of two different twisting direction, resulting an elimination of yarn twist to keep it in its original shape.
・Hand-printed with Kyoto Stencil Yuzen Dyeing.
・An one-piece dress with distinctive Kimono-like "Naginata sleeves".
・The neckline can be opened and closed with buttons.
