・Made of 20/20 circular method Takashima chizimi crepe cotton produced by Sakao Orimono Co.
「20/20」is fabric woven with 20 count threads for the warp and 20 count thread for the weft.
About the texture: it features a thickness comparable to standard shirt fabric, making it suitable for year-round wear.
(The higher the thread count, the finer the thread, creating a thinner fabric as a result)
・Hand printed with Kyoto Yuzen Stencil Dyeing.
・The front underside features loops for haori cord ties (sold separately), and the sides are fitted with loops for the included obi-jime braided sash cord belt so that you can wear the haori a variety of ways.
・Two side-seam pockets.
・Includes a custom-made obi-jime sash cord, specially crafted by Shoen Kumihimo.

【Regarding Dye Process of Takashima Chizimi】・Made of 20/20 circular method Takashima chizimi crepe cotton produced by Sakao Orimono Co.

・A cotton crepe material produced in Takashima City, Shiga Prefecture since the Tenmei era of the Edo period; it is woven using highly twisted yarn (strong-twist yarn) in the weft, resulting in a fabric surface characterized by a distinctive crinkled texture with a crisp, refreshing feel.
・The textured surface minimizes the surface area touching the skin, while dispersing perspiration across a wider area, resulting in a feeling of 2 degrees cooler in temperature.
・It boasts excellent sweat absorption, quick-drying, breathablility, moisture wicking, and moisture dispersal properties.

・Due to the use of glitter/shimmer pigments which may transfer to other items, it is recommended to wash alone.
・Machine wash in a mesh laundry net in delicate cycle.
・Due to the weak drainage power, it is best to avoid hand washing as the dye color may transfer or bleed.
・Do not soak for risk of color transfer/bleed.
・To prevent color transfer, please use a mild detergent and dry in the shade immediately after wash.
・As the color may bleed, please wash separately from white or light-colored garments.
・To preserve the creped texture of the fabric, please do not iron.
・Color transfer may occur due to friction or frequent contact with other items when worn.
