What is ”Hatsuki”...?
Hatsuki＝Clothing on top
The design is inspired by the summer attire worn by the ladies serving the court in the Muromachi Period.
・Tie-dyed by Konsei Tie-dye, a technique inherited from Arimatsu Narumi Tie-dye which boasts over 400 years of history.
・As the nature of handmade products, the color of each piece may vary depending on the dyeing tank.
・Linen is said to be the "coolest fiber" among natural fibers. It is a material best suited for hot and humid seasons.
・With continuous use, it will become softer and gives a sheen unique to linen.
・Kimono sleeve design
・Uses "Kohaze" (slide hook closure) closure strings to replace button holes.
・Uses braided buttons.
※There may be a unique smell of dyes at the beginning, but it has no harmful effect on human body.
After hanging it up for a while, the smell will gradually disappear.
※Due to manual procedure, pattern and color of products may differ from one another. Customers are not able to specify the pattern and color.
