What is " Rectangular Dress for Kids "?
As the name suggests, it is a rectangular-shaped clothing. The design is based on "Kantoui (a clothing that opens a hole in the center of the fabric to let the head pass through)" in the Yayoi Era.
・Bi-color refers to clothing where the pattern or colors of the right and left halves or a specific part is different. It is a design that existed before the Muromachi period and was popular during the Momoyama Era.
・Uses Chizimi Cotton 40/20 circular processed fabric from Sakao Orimono company.
"40/20" means a fabric woven with 40 count yarns in the warp and 20 count yarns in the weft.
About the texture: It is about the thickness of a shirt fabric that can be worn all year round.
(The higher the count number, the finer the yarn and the thinner the woven fabric is.)

・It has a long production history since the Edo period in Takashima City, Shiga-Prefecture, and is made from strongly twisted yarn which provides a sharp and creped touch.
・As the crepe texture minimizes the touching surfuce and lets sweats vaporize easily, sensible temperature is said to be minus 2 degrees.
・Excellent performances in Sweat absorbing · Quick drying · Air permeability · Hygroscopicity · Moisture release.
・Takashima chizimi cotton, which has benefited from the natural resources of Lake Biwa, boasts the highest production in Japan.
The Circulor washing processed fabric used in this product has elasticity (Elongation Rate: about 120%), making it easy to move in and comfortable to wear.
・It is crepe-like fabric, please refrain from using the iron.
・Please put it in a laundry net and wash by machine.
・Dry promptly to avoid color migration.
・As there may be color transfer, please wash it separately from white or light-colored items.
・Color may transfer during use or due to friction.
・Please avoid hand washing and soak washing as they may lead to color transfer.
・Due to the nature of the fabric, it has a certain degree of elasticity. Please adjust the garment to its original shape immediately after washing without stretching the sewn part excessively.
・Do not tumble dry.
